You Capture-Black and White

This is my first time posting to Beth's "You Capture" I am not much of a photographer but I have been trying hard since my little guy has been born. Most of the pictures below were taken on his first birthday. I played around with them abit to shadow the background but I luv the black and white. I thought I had more black and white photos, but icing is much cuter in color. Here is here link to join yourself

Take a drink

This photo was taken last month, the day was hot and we were getting ready to set the kiddy pool up in the yard. Baby had other ideas, he grabbed the hose and when no water would come out, he walked over to the faucet and proceeded to turn it on-hubby and I looked at each other in amazement.

Did he really just do that?"

Since then we have moved on to bigger and better things, drink boxes. I am really trying not to give him sugar or things with high fructose corn syrup, but "everything in moderation" These are a treat, he doesn't have them all the time, he'd rather suck water out of the garden hose.

There should be a law

I have blogged about this before but it really is starting to irk me more and more. I don't facebook, I don't tweet and I don't follow, I will however return to blogs I love and read them often. What bugs me is that to enter contests I have to do all of the above or even sign up as a facebook fan to receive a free coupon. I won't do it. I like to comment when I read a blog that is interesting or has a great product but I should not have to sign my life away just to enter or get something for free. .I know that a company cannot make you purchase an item just to enter a contest---no purchase necessary, why should I have to create a facebook acount just to get a coupon... That's just my two cents.
