Vintage travel trailers-1954 Shasta and a Homemade Teardrop

As if we didn't have enough projects on the go, hubby has manged to score almost all the wood needed to redo the the 1954 Shasta camper. The camper belongs to his boss and it has been sitting in our yard for over a year. The panelling is over $45.00 a sheet-part of the reason it has taken so long, and part is due to a lack of motivation on hubby's part-mainly the latter as his boss agreed to pay for the materials. Thanks goodness I took pictures I don't think we'd remember how to put it back together after taking it all apart. It has alot of water dammage and the wood was rotting out. Maybe, just maybe it will look like the last picture when (we) he is done...

We could go camping in our teardrop camper that we scored a couple years ago, but again some repairs are needed before we can use it. The teardrop needs the outside redone across the front, we have had it covered but the wood has been exposed for a long time and we are scared driving down the highway might just do her in. We had thought about selling it but I just can't bring myself to do it. At least I can camp in my back yard...

Cutest Easter Card Ever!!!

Thank you to ANNA at http://www.yourlittlebirdie.blogspot.com/ for creating this cute little easter card of my little
guy FREE. Its hard to believe my baby will be nine months old this weekend. This time last year we had these babies instead

Cute but not the same... We also had this little baby too who sadly disappeared a few days after the picture was taken..

Thinking about Spring and babies I am so thankful that we were blessed with one of our own. I am looking forward to his first Easter. I did put together an Easter basket for him (no chocolate) but I did find some super cute tubby toys for him to play with in the bath. The weather is finally warming up some, except the wind is sweeping down the plains. Still trying to get organized like Anna, but I have soo many projects so little time, the weekend just isn't long enough.
