Hoping for another SNOW DAY

I wouldn't want to be a weatherman in Oklahoma right now. Its 73 degrees out and we are supposed to have a severe ice storn tonight thru Friday. The are predicting that this could be the worst ice storm ever as I watch someone running by my office window in shorts and a tank top. I love snow days especially when they cancel work.

Some progress

I really need to sort through my pictures, I have way too many baby pictures mixed in with home improvement projects...Anyways We had to pull the hot water tank in the master bath, the hot water tank was sitting on a platform that was rotting and moldy so hubby after hubby tiled the closet he realized that he had mixed too much thinset, I asked him if we could tile the backdoor entryway. He did 2 cuts of tile and it turned out great, now when the hardwood goes in, it won't go right up to the backdoor and the tile will be alot easier to clean when the dogs come barreling in. I hate the blue painted floor with a passion..I am soo ready for flooring.
Its gets better there's more, hubby got a new chainsaw for Christmas and decided he would try and cut some stragly ugly trees down on the other side of the driveway. The big mound is our lagoon and its already starting to go green. Baby had a good time outside too. The weather has been great although we are supposed to get snow on Thursday.. I was trying to finish baby's room-my sticky bears won't stick so until I get those up I can take pictures of his room.

Oklahoma Blizzard 2009

We had a nice quiet Christmas especially after the blizzard of 2009 on Christmas eve-exactly what I was hoping. I got to spend alot of time with my little guy and almost no time doing anything else. Perfect... I was hoping to tackle a mess of organizing and try to cook some meals-that I did do a bit of, but organizing not so much. Most of Christmas is sitting in the dinning room waiting to go in the attic-I need a few more boxes to complete the task, also we are a little scared to get up there, the blizzard blew snow in our attic and everything got pretty wet-so far we haven't assessed the damaged yet. I am sure there are a few things that got ruined hopefully nothing important. We had alot of snow, enough to build a snowman, too bad I couldn't find a tobogan or a slippy slide, a garbage can lid worked okay, just a little bumpy. Most of the snow is gone now but we are expecting -20 this week-brr hold on to your hat!!!
