B is for bathroom

This is the master bath countertop done with marble tiles we have had this done for a couple weeks although we had the marble for almost a year-hubby was afraid to cut it-they weren't cheap. Still needs some finishing but I love the way it looks. The faucet was a $40.00 ebay purchase-I was really into restoration hardware and I had to have it. We only put one sink in the master bath even though there was space for 2 sinks we felt we really didn't need 2 since we never get ready at the same time. Wait until you see pictures of the tub in the master bath and the spare bath-what a difference a gallon of sealer makes. Today is 30 days till baby-nursery still in progress....

Countdown is on

5 more weeks to go and no the nursery is not done yet so I can't post any pictures. The crib is finally together and I bought a mattress today. There is still alot of work to do mainly touch ups. My MIL made the cutest curtains from some fabric I bought at the thrift store. I also bought some toile fabric today at the thrift store-not sure what I am going to do with it but it was so pretty I thought it might go nice in the guest room. I went to try and find a rug today for the baby's room, no such luck. I saw one last week at Lowes I knew I should have bought it. Hubby's work had a baby shower for him today-he works with all women he is the only man... they bought all kinds of stuff for the baby-he was shocked. I can hardly wait to see what he got. We are having our BIG shower Saturday at the Pig Shop, I think there are supposed to be 35 people so it should be alot of fun!!! Taking tommorow off so I can clean house. Everyone says you get a burst of energy in the last semester-I am still waiting. I manage to get a couple things done and that's about all I can do for the day. ...
