9 weeks to go

Today I am 31 weeks pregnant if everything reads right and just 9 more weeks to go. Still raining here in OK and its supposed to rain all week. Pretty tough to get projects done when you can't open the window for air to let paint and sealer dry so there isn't any progress. Hubby is sick-poor baby he has some kind of bug that he can't shake. I had it too but only for a couple days. I am not sure if I should be happy or sad about the weather. When I found out I was due in July everyone said I would be miserable due to the heat. I am miserable cause I haven't seen the sun in days, I'm cold and damp-it was soo chilly we even lit a fire in the woodstove-its the middle of May....I can't wear my pink rubber boots to work everyday-cute as they are.

Nursery-sneak peak-color

We are 30 weeks this week, I haven't blogged on myself much but I have commented lots of places. I love reading other people's pregnancy stories. So your sneak peak is the color, not much excitement but hopefully there will be more to show next week. Hubby picked the color from the gobs of swatches I brought home its Bungalow Beige and Interesting Aqua.-Sherwin Williams. The cabinet is going to stay this color for now, I hate to paint them white and then when he gets older they don't look good so for now I am going to leave them. The floor is hopefully going to go in this weekend and the crib will get put together. I have the cutest decorations I bought that still need to go up too. The weather has been so crappy the past few weekends its been hard to get much done when its pouring rain (my poor irises were growing strong and the rain and hail has pelted them hard). We had a red box movie marathon last weekend and just took it easy. We had about 9 movies, most of them crap but if you haven't seen Marley and Me yet "don't" if you are an animal lover and pregnant. I cried for 2 days-with Shtookas being gone it was even tougher. We got Momma Dog fixed this week, she seems to be doing okay, we were afraid she would go into heat before we could get her fixed. It has only been a few weeks and she hasn't even dried up yet from her last litter.

This is the stuff that I got from my first ever baby shower at work. Last count there were something like 1500 diapers and baby wipes. Still haven't figured out where I am going to keep it all. I have another shower coming up in June. I can't beleive I am only 10 weeks away, finally people are telling me I look pregnant-really I am as big as a barn with legs!!!
