Its a BOY-time to rethink PINK

ITS A BOY!!!!!

We found out Tuesday on the ultrasound that we are expecting a baby boy. Right off the bat he was showing his stuff. I was shocked, really I thought I was having a baby girl. Took me a couple days to get over the initial shock. I heard that most women who are pregnant and have an easy pregnancy usually have girl. So far, I haven't had any trouble, no sickness, a little tired but that's about it. So now the dilemna begins, I had grand plans for this room, I was going to paint the built ins white now I am not so sure. I have been searching for some inspiration below are some of the pics of stuff I like. I thought the best place to start would be with the bedding, that way I can coordinate with it. I really want chocolate brown, blue and maybe green. I have stained some of the cabinets in the bathroom a dark espresso that I really like but I thought it might be a little too dark. Of course before I can even start in here we need to get a new window and flooring (this is painted concrete). Here are some of the things I thought might work-what do you think?

I like this one above the best-its cute I like the checkers and stripes.

Bad Blogger

I have been a bad blogger. Being pregnant, I had all these grand plans to add to my blog the various what nots that tell how far along you are and how many days till the big day. Haven't got that far. As far as I can tell I am 17 weeks pregnant-I have an ultrasound on Thurs-hopefully I am far enough along to find out the sex but I think its likely to happen at my next appointment. We had a couple of snow days-more like ice days-who cares as long as I didn't have to go to work and there was enough wood to keep the house warm. Alas, now that it has all melted I have mud everywhere. Moose, Momo and Momma dog along with hubby have managed to completely trash my floors...part of living in the country I guess. Thank goodness I don't have the hardwood yet.
