Sorry I have been such a bad blogger, I am finally over the first trimester. Feeling good and ready to tackle some more home projects. The kitchen especially. Hubby and I have been talking about using marble in the kitchen for some time now. The gold marble laminate is just plain ugly and with the new baby coming, I'd like to get one major project out of the way before she/he arrives in July. I really do want a farm sink-we have a brand new stainless steel sink in the garage that we could put in, but I love the way the farm sink looks. The kitchen window is a must. Ours is aluminum and there is no screen. I love looking outside watching the red birds at the bird feeder but I have to stand on my tippy toes if I want to really see them. The one thing I am torn over is the backsplash-to marble or use glass subway tiles? Another thing is the color of the cabinets. Hubby wants to restain them to a cherry wood, I'd rather paint them white and make the kitchen bigger. What are your thoughts?? Thanks to www.cotedetexas.blogspot.com for another great idea .
